The MDTP CAHSEE Preparatory Diagnostic and Related Common Core Issues
The CSU/UC Mathematics Diagnostic Testing Project (MDTP) released its CP45A12 in fall of 2012 to assist teachers with formative assessments for students who are likely to take the CAHSEE within one year. Though the future of the CAHSEE is uncertain, MDTP has designed this test to address skills and concepts that range in level from fourth grade mathematics to Algebra I, including those that test readiness for high school geometry, making it a valuable diagnostic instrument for students at the tenth grade level. John Sarli, Site Director, CSUSB, will share the CP45A12 and some test reports using the Daskala online platform, and will share some correspondences with Common Core Standards that MDTP linked to its internal specifications. He will also show some of the Written Response items that MDTP created to align with the CP45A12.
