California Standards for Teachers of Students With Significant Disabilities: Implementing SANDI and FAST

This one-day workshop describes how the RCOE Student Assessment of Needs Determination Inventory (SANDI) and Formative Assessment of Standards Tasks (FAST) are aligned to the California Standards and provide access to and show progress in the California Standards for students with significant cognitive disabilities.  Participants will engage in hands-on interaction using the SANDI to identify student need areas, write and implement standards-based IEPs, analyze student data, implement effective standards-based instructional groups, collaborate to improve student learning, and engage parents and stakeholders in positive school/community relationships.  Includes overview of Alternate Assessment update. No cost for Riverside County districts using the SANDI/FAST online.
