California's newly adopted History-Social Science Framework has incorporated content, inquiry, citizenship, and literacy as instructional shifts to compliment the standards of the English Language Arts and English Language Development Framework. In this one-day workshop, high school teachers, coaches, and administrators will learn how to implement these new shifts in their content area using disciplinary literacy and research-based instructional strategies.
