This full-day PBIS workshop is facilitated by Jeff Sprague, Ph.D., University of Oregon Institute on Violence and Destructive Behavior. The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with opportunities to acquire and apply the principles and skills of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), specifically, to (a) assess and apply behavior support procedures on a systemic basis at the school wide, classroom, common area and individual student level; (b) design and implement positive behavioral support interventions, and (c) use system and individual student-level data to improve and maintain the system.
Participants will:
- Asses the fidelity of Tier II implementation at their school.
- Complete the Tier II section of the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI).
- Develop an action plan based on the TFI results.
- Implement Tier Ii systems in their school.
- Explore Universal Screening tools.
- Build a system of Tier II behavior Supports.
