Inquiry Support Session - Strategies for Teaching English Learners

ELL students may have a deep sense of their non-U.S. culture, a strong sense of multiple cultures, or identify only with U.S. culture.  Teachers will practice three research-based instructional strategies for English learners to specifically address their literacy strengths and challenges.

Teachers will inquire:

–       How do I integrate academic vocabulary?

–       How do I use tiered instruction to differentiate for my English learners?

–       How do I use web tools to support scaffolding in a universal literacy environment?
