This session will examine a variety of pre-referral intervention models for the full range of learners and how they inform the roles and responsibilities of both the general and special education teacher. Participants will learn about IDEA and the IEP process from referral to placement.
Teachers will inquire:
- How do I know what part of the IEP process I’m responsible for implementing in my classroom?
- How do I collaborate with the general or special education teachers on my site?
- How can I help students with IEPs achieve success toward goals and content?
