Restorative Practices can play an integral part in a district’s/school’s tiered interventions for reducing truancy and chronic absenteeism. In this interactive presentation, Amir Alavi, Esq., Deputy District Attorney and Susan Levine, Ed.D., Director II, Pupil and Administrative Services will review the Principles of Restorative Practices (RP) and the application of RP to the SARB practice.
Attendees will have the opportunity to role play around the topics of building and developing community, repairing harm and damage and building and restoring relationships.
