Event Date Oct 08, 2019
This session will help you support your TK–2nd grade students in the successful completion of a research project. The focus will be on developing a classroom project, conducting an experiment, and presenting the findings. We all share what it takes to be a scientist: creative imagination. Conducting a research project gives us an opportunity to use creativity and imagination to investigate what science and mathematics can reveal about the world and ourselves. Completing a research project is ideal for implementation of the scientific or engineering practices of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) as well as the California Standards in science literacy and the California Standards in mathematics.
