G-Suite Academy: Google Docs

If you are new to G-Suite, G-Suite Academy may be just the support you need to learn more about the tools in G-Suite for Education.  Activities can be completed face-to-face or with patient support from the RCOE ETS Team.

Google Docs is an online word processing app accessible on virtually any connected device. This activity will help you to understand how to do the following:

• create and edit a document
• rename and file a document
• insert images from the web
• replace images already in your document
• conduct research within Google Docs
• Ensure your documents are accessible to those without sight
• Download a file as a Microsoft Word document, PDF, or other format
• Share a document for live collaboration, viewing, or commenting
• Comment on specific parts of a document
